Katsuni :I am from France, a small town close to Switzerland.

Q: You have such an exotic beauty; what is your heritage?
Katsuni : I am a half-half Vietnamese/French mix. My father is Vietnamese and my mother's family is from France.

Q: How did you choose your original stage name?
Katsuni : I originally chose the name Katsumi because of a favourite Japanese comics character. I really love Japanese comics and have read them for years.

Q: You have changed your name slightly. Can you explain why?
Katsuni :Yes, I chose to change my name to Katsuni because Katsumi is a common last name. My fans seem to think that Katsuni is hotter anyway.

Q: What were you like growing up?
Katsuni : I was very shy. I am still shy but I hide it well.

Q: You certainly do! I've seen your work and you are fabulous!
Katsuni : Thank you. When there is a camera, I become Katsuni. I am here to give pleasure. When I am not working, I am different.

Q: How long have you been part of the adult entertainment industry?

Katsuni : A friend of mine from home introduced me to my agent Mark Speigler.

Q: Do you like working in the States? Are things very different between continents, from an industry perspective?
Katsuni : Absolutely! I like shooting in the States because there are so many different great companies to work with. The business is much bigger here than in Europe. There are great movies being made in Europe but here there are more choices and I really like working on gonzo films. In Europe, it is not good for a girl to do gonzo.

Q: What was your first movie?
Katsuni : I shot a film with Red Light District, but I can't remember the name! I was in a scene with Erik Everhard and Lexington Steele. It was a very good scene; I was lucky.

Q: Before this, have you ever worked with anybody as big as Lexington?
Katsuni : No. But since then, I have worked with Mandingo. Sometimes, it can be more pain to work with a smaller. I like them big.

Q: Were you nervous before your first film? Do you get nervous now, at all?
Katsuni : I was a bit nervous, but I like the exciting feeling. I am sometimes nervous for the first scene when I come to the States to film because I have not had sex since the last job.

Q: You don't have any sex off camera?
Katsuni : I don't have a boyfriend right now but I masturbate a lot.

Q: Do you have any favourite people to work with?
Katsuni : It is very difficult because all of the men are so different, each time I fall in love with the guy so I have lots of favourites. I like mark Davis, Lexington, Lee Stone. I do not like to share! I am shy to work with girls and do not work with them so much.

Katsuni : Yes. For me, it is a game through sometimes it is difficult for me to do it in English. But my English is better after doing more films. Now, I have worked with Wicked, Vivid&lots of great groups.

Q: You certainly have a lot of fans - the transition has been good?
Katsuni : There are lots of opportunities to work with good people here but it can be very busy. I kept working a lot in Europe. More and more people recognize me each time I am in the States. I can't believe how many fans I have; it seems to have happened all of a sudden. It feels great and big thanks to my fans here.

Q: Do you attend many shows in France and the USA?
Katsuni : I try to go to as many shows as I can because they are fun. There are different shows I go to all over the place like Brussels, Barcelona, Berlin and Las Vegas.

Q: This has been a busy year for you at some of the Awards ceremonies, too!
Katsuni : Yes, I have won a few this year alone! It gives me a lot of energy to do more great work.

Q: Is there one that you are particularly proud of?
Katsuni : I am proud of each one. When I went to the [awards] shows in Europe, I won awards for Best Actress at each of them. It is always nice to get these; they are like presents.

Q: What other exciting projects do you have on the go?
Katsuni : I will continue to do magazines, performance show some calendars but I have some toys, too, and had a mold done of my pussy.

Q: That must have been some fun!
Katsuni : It was a lot of fun. I can't believe it sometimes - it is like a game to me - but now people can fuck Katsuni's pussy (giggling)
