Adult Star Tang's Homicide Was by Suffocation
Sep 18, 2009 - 9:45:40 PM
LOS ANGELES - Brian Lee Randone has been locked up about a week at the Twins Tower jail in downtown Los Angeles after his arrest.
Randone was charged Tuesday by the Los Angeles County District Attorney's office in the death of porn star Felicia Tang, whose body was found in a Monrovia, Calif., apartment last Friday.
Police believe the homicide was the result of domestic violence and that Randone suffocated Tang, the 31-year-old live-in girlfriend, according to sources. Tang, whose birth name was Felicia Lee, was born in Singapore, raised in Perth, Australia, and became an online-adult top draw for more than seven years, from 2001 to 2008.
She starred in several Playboy TV shows, "Naked Sports," "7 Lives Exposed" and "Buckwild," among others.
Tang appeared in several Peach DVD movies, including "Asian Fever" and "Hotel Decandence," and she starred in the pay-per-view series "Strip Poker Tournament."
She also has leading parts in several mainstream movies, including "Rush Hour 2," "Cradle 2 the Grave" and "The Fast and the Furious," and modeled for Sketcher Shoes. She was featured in numerous calendars.
Tang also owned FeliciaTang.com, which offered photo galleries and videos, as well as her online diary and custom shoots.
Jane Robison, with the District Attorney's office, told XBIZ she could not comment beyond what has already been reported about the murder, which apparently included reports of torture, as well.
Randone is being held in lieu of $2 million bail, with a preliminary hearing scheduled for Sept. 29, Robison said.
Randone, 45, grew up in Omaha, Neb., and holds a bachelor's degree from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago and a master's of divinity degree from Southwestern Seminary in Fort Worth.
He ministered at Moody Bible Institute, Dallas Theological Seminary and Taylor University Chapel. Randone also had mime skills and regularly spoke at retreats, youth rallies and other church and school functions.
In 2000, Randone moved west to California to seek a career in show business, later appearing on the Fox reality show "The Sexiest Bachelor in America."
Randone, in a blog posting on his personal website, wrote that he had no plans to "try to be sexy" for the show, but he would "try to be a Christian first, a man second."
