Defiance Films Receives 6 Nominations for 2006 AVN Awards »

Defiance Films is pleased to announce
that they have received 6 AVN nominations for the upcoming 23rd annual
AVN Awards Show in Las Vegas on Saturday, January 7th, 2006.
The Awards show will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada on at the Venetian Hotel Resort & Casino.
“It's
an honor to be recognized for all the hard work we have put in,” Keith
O'Connor humbly explained. “We've only been shipping less than half of
a year and already all the love our cast and crew have offered up is
being noticed. I really am speechless.”
Among the handful of
noteworthy nominations, Defiance has been nominated for Best New Video
Production Company, an honor that means more to the company than all
the rest.
“We've really tried to create something special with
Defiance,” Head of Sales Anthony Simone offered. “We're like a family.
If one of us wins, we all win.”
Keith was quick to share similar feelings.
“All
of our directors, performers, editors, photographers, graphic artists
and production crews have played a part in putting Defiance on the map
today. Each of them has played a part in growing this company into what
it is today. In less than six months time, Defiance Films has become
recognized and is synonymous with quality and class. For that reason I
feel like we've already won. I'm both grateful and honoroed that AVN
would consider us for these awards, and I am proud of all that we at
Defiance have accomplished together.”
In addition Defiance
contract directors Taylor Rain and Lauren Phoenix were both nominated
for Female Performer of the Year as well. Shortly after the nominations
were announced, Taylor Rain and Defiance began to hint at a special
announcement coming from the starlet herself, but, as of yet, fans and
friends are still anxiously awaiting word.
“It's going to be big
news about her career,” Keith coyly countered. “She's the only one who
can make the announcement. It'll be worth the wait, trust me.”
